    Yes and Yes.

Tea time is popular on a Sunday.

Spotted dick is a dessert made of suet I think, but with currents in. The currents are the spots. (But I have never eaten it), its usually served with Custard.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      Lol!

Yes there is such a thing a spotted dick It's sponge with currents often served with custard, but I don't think people eat it much.

I have known friends who have 'tea time' with cakes and tea - but my family never really did it. And yes, milk in tea is a must for most people.

Suet is fat made from either lard or vegetable fats.

I think quite a lot of cars are from the US now. I keep seeing really large Chryslers. Fords too - still owned by GM I think? Not sure, BF would know. I'll ask him when he gets in.

I must be "closet English" as I have tea with the full service and all every weekend. Well, that and I drive on the wrong side of the road.

No its the other way around, you call handbags "purses". A purse is something that ladies keep their money in, which goes into their handbags
