In my house I am the minority. I have my hubby and 2 boys so I don't ask them to put it down unless we have company... nothing is worse than a guest complaining that she got her butt all wet because she didn't notice the set was left up.... hehe
I used to think it was gross but I don't really care now.

LOL exactly!!

One thing my hubby does that DRIVES ME CRAZY is he flushes about half way through his pee... so by the time he finishes the bowl is already filled back up with water!!
I yell at him for it but he just keeps doing it... Grrrr! lol

I would think that since it's so cold and nasty, that after a women falls in once she would forever check the seat after that.

And what is it with people (women that is; guys won't do this) that put a fuzzy seat cover, a tank cover, AND a lid cover on the toilet? Then one has to stand there with one hand on the raised seat to keep it from falling down before one's done.

I hate squishy toilet seats. I thought I'd just throw that into the mix. My toilet seat has no covers, just the lid it came with. You can't clean a fuzzy cover with Clorox.

yes those foofie toilet sets are just wrong. I mean who needs a pretty toilet anyway? We all know what nastiness goes on in there!! It's not like putting a carpet on top of it will disguise what it 'really does'.

Definitely in the minority here, but the toilet seat up never bothers me. It seems like it would frustrate men that they always have to put it up, just like it frustrates women when we have to put it down.

I say just put it up or down, whichever way you need it, and don't stress over it!
