Oh WOW, good stuff!

My reaction to the Soft Cell song is a bit "tainted" though; I can't hear it without thinking "SNARFLE THE GARTHOG!!"

And..omgosh, I'd forgotten (Arcadia - I wore OUT my copies of that!) how hot Simon LeBon was/is.

The 80s compilation vid is just great - I hope I don't stay up all night browsing YouTube (again). Loved seeing the clip of Axl doing the Davy Jones.

ohhh, seeing Sting, Bono, and Simon singing together still makes me giddy (Band Aid)

Something else about the song "Do they know it's Christmas" --- one evening during the year it came out (I was a kid!) I was sitting in the living room downstairs reading, and my folks had gone to bed. NO radios on in the house. I starting thinking about the song VERY strongly, and 'playing' it in my head, and I headed up the stairs to my room. I lay down, turned on my little radio, and the song was playing, at the exact same spot that was going in my head.

My parents never believed me.
