    liza - sorry I have to chuckle - ice in Miami

    My FIL and his friend left for florida two weeks ago, looking for warm weather...NOT. I feel so bad for him. Hopefully he'll stay another week and see some sunshine.

          Yeah. I had an ice covered windshield on Wednesday morning too!!
          I have NOT had to turn on the AC in a long time though. LOL.

            We almost always have the AC on, not necessarily for us, but for the reef tank in the family room.

            I love ice photos, but not having to live in it. I grew up in OH, WV, KY and had enough!

              Ha ha! You have to be the Queen of Positive Thinking, Mission! We also need sun though for that...and we're getting it now, which is nice... along with ice that so many others seem to be having.

                  Morning Sham,

                  Hi all,

                  We have a thing called "Frozen Fog" here today...All the trees and bushes look like they are snow covered, never heard of this, but it is very pretty up close. Will try to take a few pics before it melts.

                  Otherwise it is just a normal January day. 21 degrees, 93% humidity, overcast.                   Still lots of snow on the ground left from 10 days ago.

                    We had some rain(mild) few days but it was freezing and very windy today.Were expecting snow tomorrow again not looking 4wd to that.

                        Glad you warmed up Liza,

                        The past few nights we had very foggy nights, and then very cold temps, and that resulted in what they call "frozen fog."

                        Click on the pics to see the detail.

                        The picture with the berries, those are the same berries I posted a few weeks ago when they were encased in ice.

                        The other one is a bush without any leaves, just bare stems and then the frozen moisture on them.

                        This is not snow --- even though it looks like it.

                          Big discrepancies in what's forecast and what actually is. We're having lovely sun these days, but temps well below zero (centigrade). Much better than rain!

                              For several days, we've had... water... falling from the sky.

                              Anybody know what it is?
