  • supporting member question

I know supporting members get added benefits but I also know it becomes a reoccuring billing.

if I use the donate without becoming a supporting member to make a single contribution for the yr will I get supporting benefits too like the increased PM box?

I think so, but I'll try to find out for sure.

No need to PM anyone, I've already done it.

Ahhhh... Sorry, 2big!!! I completely forgot about this thread!

Tom said that only supporting members get supporting member perks.

If, at one point, you want to stop being a supporting member, I'm pretty sure you can can cancel your subscription in PayPal though.

I always just made a yearly contributioin to ADBB to be a supporting member. that was what I was asking about.

how does one make a single contribution as a supporitng member cause my options at the link are either a monthly contribution as a supporting member or a one time contribution as a nonsupporting member

I think this changed a few years ago. Now you can either make a donation or become a supporting member. All supporting member contributions are recurrent.

But as I said, if you become a supporting member and, at some point, want to cancel your supporting membership, you can do it in PayPal.

And I hear you about the inbox... I have the same problem.

I don't have a paypal account and if one cancels it then one would lose the supporting membership benefits anyways.

                          Re: supporting member question

and another thing it says I can buy a subscrition for $2 a day or a month for $5 and I can buy 10 yrs for $100. is that right? 10 yrs subscription for less then a yr at the monthly rate?

maybe I will go buy 10 yrs and be done with it.

                            Yes, that's right. 10 years is $100.
