Re: How often do you weigh in?

I weigh myself every day when I wake up. I am a scientist by trade so I require the data. I have a spreadsheet that includes carbs ingested, weight, calories ingested, fat, fiber, protein, type amount of exercise, and quantity of water. I graph the data. then examine the data to determine what could be causing stalls. oddly enough the results i have found so far correlate to what everyone says. drink LOTS of water, eat veggies, and exercise.

I weigh myself every once every 3 months when I am not trying to lose weight. When I am on a weight loss diet then once a day when I get up. I have done this for decades and it seems to work for me.

As far as measurement goes, I measure myself by the clothes I can get into. I buy some lovely classical expensive stuff and I don't plan to replace it. Too much trouble - looking for the right colour, cut etc. I used to have a dressmaker but not now. It is easier for me to exercise and diet and fit into what I have than to try to replace. For example, I bought an original Valentino velvet Russian style skirt about 30 years ago. The original price was $5,000.00 Can. I waited for 3 years until the skirt went on sale for under $1000 to buy it. It has a hand painted pattern and it is a piece of art on its own such as the Mona Lisa. So if I want to wear it, I have to fit it. I feel like a princess everytime I wear it.
