Budget? What is that? Just for my daughter, alone, I've spent close to $900.

I went into Nordstoms yesterday and there was the cutest display of gifts for little girls... purses from juicy, jewelry from juicy... I looked at the price of the purse it was $125... for a little girls purse!!!!! (crazy! but it was sooooo cute! lol! good thing I don't have a little girl to shop for anymore...)

I am trying not to go crazy, but still have nice presents to open Christmas morning... also giving my kids money as they have none...

I'm also embroidering towels as gifts... they are turning out cute.

        Christmas totally stresses me out!

This was fun, and very interesting. Thanks Jimmie!

We buy for the nieces, nephews, brothers and sister-in-laws on my side of the family (in addition to our two children and son-in-law). Something like 25 people. That's insane.

Thank goodness for our Christmas Club. We refuse to go over the amount that we have saved all year.

My granddaughter has a budget all of her own. We're going to spoil that child!

Lol, I am thinking the same thing with my boys being 25 and 23. But they are still both in school (Younger one graduates tomorrow with Accounting Degree from UNO but is going back in January working for his Masters to be CPA, older one is in culinary school learning to be a chef, he has about a year and a half left). Guess when they are out of school and own their own that is which they will no longer be my boys but my adult boys. LOL!

I hear you Atkid... and agree. My eldest graduated (violin) this summer, but is still studying (and working at the same time) but, you know... struggling musicians and all that...
Youngest still quite tied to the apron strings.

The good thing is that here in Italy, Christmas is not nearly as "big" (or expensive) as in some places. I remember I used to spend a fortune in the UK... as for christmas cards... I'd better not get started on that subject!!

We've decreased our spending considerably over the past few years. Try to concentate on the grandchildren. It's all about the little kids!!!

I spent well over my original plans. I just kept adding family members and friends. I spent about $900 this year but had budgeted for $600
