  • One YEAR Low Carbing.....July,1 2006

i started this awesome journey july1, 2005 with just the hope of getting under 200 pounds, now i am soooo close to being under 150
what an accomplishment i have done for myself.... i have not been this small
    since the 1980's

    I can sqeeze into a size 10
12's fit fine..... i am going for a size 8

    yes a size 28 to a size 8

i am soooo happy...... soooo excited, i got cloths TOO big.... lol, a 16 big???
i remember when a 14 or 16 was my dream and now i can squuze into a 10
    happy anniversary to me

my goal is to have the next 25-30 pounds off by christmas 6 months away.
i am loosing about 3-4 pounds a month, last month i did not loose at all. it was fun loosing 14 pounds a month when i started out, but it is no big deal, i weigh once a month and take what the scale gives me, i always weigh in uniform and uniform shoes, so i know that weighs about 3 pounds or maybe more but i just go by the scales in the weight room here at work.

i am eating no carbs today, had a big 4th... of july... no big deal, i cheat all the time now but not sugar or bread, i had bbq beans and slaw, ribs and salad, the best bbq beans in the world considering i never liked them before, amazing how good frozen english peas taste... i could never taste before.... lol.... and had a few slices of home grown red tomatos and fried green tomatoes ( I fry evey thing breaded in parasian cheese, ) try it it is wonderful, i am eating fried catfish fried in it now, it is brown and crusty, awesome tasting too, add some salt and paparika , i can not spell too good lol...

Wow, that's a LOT going on in your life right now.

Congrats on the weight loss. I'm also shrinking up top and have gone from a 44DD to a 38D. When I exercise, I squeeze into a 38 C for extra support. I'll have to check out your bikini top site.

As for the affair, hopefully, she isn't on this website! FYI, I won't judge you, but I'm sure a lot of others will. All I can say is you do what is best for you and hopefully no one will get hurt. It's hard to be in that situation where you don't want to feel too much for someone but at the same time you're having so much fun. My best friend went thru that. On the upside, they've been together for 4 years now and have both since been divorced from their spouses (as they were cheating as well). However, they monitor each other like hawks because they know they've both cheated in the past.

Anyhoo, good luck with everything. Maybe it would help to journal in the journal section. You'd be a great journal to read!

Hey Harley lady. How about this one. I am re-starting on Atkins and still on induction. I am a detetion officer and work in a jail that currently has close to 600 inmates, and is only supposed to hold about 400. The womens floor has 68 women right now (and that is a low number), about 14 are on the floor right now. This has been going on for years and finally it has been approved for a new jail to be built, but that could take 7 years or so.
Anyway, congrats on your weight loss, and just be careful about the affair. I know you said his wife was heavy, is that the truth, or is she maybe just 10lbs overweight, and how do you know for sure she is having an affair also? He could be saying all of this to make you feel sorry for him, or to think it's okay to have an affair with him since she is also. I'm not trying to be harsh, it's just that I see it often around here, and most men who were having the affair would always say that their wives were fat, mean, or having affairs when they really were not - it was their husband who was. Just be careful, and find you an honest man. This one will only lead to heartbreak.

              Congrats on your anniversary!!!
A lot of the time, emotional baggage comes along with being overweight. Often, we can lose the weight, but dealing with and fixing the core issues are sometimes a little more challenging. There seems to be a lot going on in your life. You have gotten a hold of one of those issues (weight) with sheer motivation and determination, simply because you wanted the best for yourself healthwise. Just make sure you approach your personal life with the same determination and fine-toothed comb you used to conquor your weight. When we begin with lifestyle change, we don't only want to be healed on the outside, we want to be healed on the inside as well.....resulting in a well-rounded person.
I know this is not an advice column and you did not ask for advice about your relationships. So, tell me to MIND MY OWN BUSINESS in your reply!

Besides, we know what happens when we cheat on the atkins diet....we end up with results we don't want. Couldn't we apply the same philosophy to choices in our relationships (smile again)?

this was about 9 months ago,
i no longer see him even though he is divorced.
i thought i had edited that thread, i will delete it.
I gave his wife all my size 24-26 clothes, i know how big she
was. she was trying to get aproval from her inusrance
to have a gastric bypass last summer

we have jailers now, and the court clerk has moved to our building
i would hate being a full time jailer
