It's better then not being around for 40 something. Also, I find as I'm getting older I am coming more into my own. I'm not 40 yet but working on it.

when I turned 40 I didn't think of it as "40" - I thought of it as 20/20 and twice as fun!!!

Its all in your mind - if you feel old, you are old.

So you feel what? Young! Healthy! Happy! Energetic! Sexy! Outgoing!

What are you going to do today? Sit around and feel old and sorry for yourself.....heck no, who'd do that! Go out and have an adventure!

Awsome pictures! If thats what 40 looks like, I'm not too worried now. You look fantastic! I too believe that age is what you make it just as is life or say a new duty station for military members. Be young at heart and enjoy every minute of it! Found this and had to share it. Happy Birthday!

When I was 20, I had Nooooo idea about what I wanted to do with my life.

When I was 30, I couldn't AFFORD what I wanted to do with my life.

40 is much more financially stable than the 20s or 30s... I have direction... Life is good!

Let me tell you 40 is WAY better than the 30s. You know yourself a lot better. You know bu!!$h!t when you see it and know you don't have to engage. You don't care what other people think. You have more confidence. You realize that you control your life, you are not the victim of your life. I love my 40s, I hope you do too!
