  • No more obese!

    Hi!
I wanted to share with you my joy of finally not being obese anymore.
I have started this journey last year with a BMI of 38,8, wich meant I was a second degree obese, almost at the limit of morbid obesity.

When I starded my beautifull, yet difficult (but wonderfull things need to be difficult) journey, I was weighting 214lbs.

Today, my BMI is 29.4. I'm finally just overweight. I have lost 50 lbs, I am now at 164lbs.

I still have a very long road in front of me, yet, I believe I have accomplished something GREAT that needed to be celebrated with you, my friends!

    Re: No more obese!

Vek, I am right there with you. I broke the obese barrier yesterday. Actually Thursday I was at 29.99, but I still consider that 30. I am down to 28.74 today. Being severely overweight is so much better than obese. Congrats.

AWWWW! Thank you! You made me go play with BMI calculators!! LOL! Ten more pounds gone gets me to 29.8 BMI. Certainly not a finish line, but a mini goal. It'll be nice to get rid of that 30+ BMI. AND at 202 lbs, ONEderland will be so CLOSE!!! Can't wait for some thrift store shopping!! I've gone from a tight size 18 jeans to a loose 16 and I have the reserve size 14's that I've never worn but were super cheap and Lane Bryant....oh, let's say roughly 2 yrs ago!! They're gonna be sexxxxxy!!

Indeed! Every evening (when I'm feeling like "you know, how bad can a giant chocolate be?"), I look on internet at motivational pictures of sexy shirts or tight pants that I'll love to buy one day... And the ideea of the chocolate goes away like a bad dream!
