      Hellooooooooooooooo to a Texan!

Go to amazon.com and look for the 2002 version of the Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution, used. You'll pay less than armadillo spit, and you'll be a heck of a lot happier than a man who's found his lost can of Skoal.

I found my can of Skoal just the other day. My god I am relieved. But I would much rather have my DANDR

                    Re: question?

Hi, welcome. Just thought I'd pass some tips to the new kid.
                    1) Measure yourself. Sometimes thoes darn scales are evil, but the tape measure is always your friend.
                    2) When you shop, go alone and spend some time reading labels. We found out that while on Atkins, you just go around the walls, and hardly ever go down the lanes any more. We shop in the meat area, the fresh food area and the dairy area for cream and cheese.
                    3) DON'T do junk low carb food.
                    Again welcome and keep posting

                        Hi Texasluvv and welcome.
I agree with Desertthorn, the scales can be evil, but measuring yourself helps if the scales are having one of those days

*I think... trying to avoid the scales due to general inability to cope with any gains without reaching for ice-cream
