I don't see any men on here, you gals must throw 'em around on here huh? LOL
Hi, I'm Bob, all my buds call me Rooster. I'm 46, married, 2 kids and all my chickens and roosters are all gone now. LOL. When I was 26 I was 6'2" and 175 (skinny)(allways good looking though) LOL and I entered the world of body building and you guessed it....I blew up to 250 plus in three years. Looked good then but now? yikes! We generally in the old school used the Atkins induction phase to lean down for contests in a 90 day induction dieting period to loose a ton of weight and become 4% body fat. We used potatoes and meat to bulk up again afterwards. I'm very familiar with Atkins as I done induction 2 to 3 times a year for the last 20 years! oof. I have been 265 and I was 252 last week some time, I'm now 244.
Iv'e found that my ability to metabolize carbs has been permanately damaged! It's easy for me loose 9 to 10 lbs. of water the first week but beyond that requires a world of science in weighing foods you would not believe..trust me.
I have decided to give it a long term OWL this time after a satifying induction of 30 or more days (nothing new to me) as I have become desperate to see 190 once again...I race Karts and this is the competitive optimum weight. I have been doing induction for prolonged periods before a race to hope to see at least 230. I am physiqed like a football player and share the weight well throughout me.
Bla, bla, bla, LOL anyway, hello, this is me and what I am and hope to meet some super people on here and I'm sure there is! best wishes to all of you with your goals. As you can see I'm more excited about this now than I ever was after 20 years of tinkering with induction only....all you need is the need they say, and how true that is. Roo
