  • Hi, everyone!

    Greetings to all.This is my first go-round on Atkins and after lurking about this community for a few weeks, I feel I'm ready to commit. I am currently at 228 lbs. with a goal of 150 lbs. on my 5'5 frame.

    I'm planning on using coolrunning.com's Couch-to-5k Running Plan (http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml) and I was wondering if anyone had used it, and, if so, what they thought about it.

    Welcome to ADBB thinspired! Nice to meet you too!

    You can do this and there are lots of people here to cheer you on. (and prod you when neccessary too may I add)

    Do you have a copy of Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution to help you thru? It will be your bible for this woe. If not I highly reccomend it as there is more information in the book than you are going to find on line.

    Try a post in the exercise forum. There are several people here using the couch to 5K program that can help support you with this.

      Thanks, Terry. Yes, I do have a copy of DANDR and I've read it front to back a few times just to make sure I know what I'm doing.
