  • Some more questions

Hi everyone. I am 6 days in and only have lost about 5 lbs, was hoping for more. Anyway, I got on the treadmil today...first exercise in about a year!!! I was only able to do 10 minutes and .5 mile walked, but I guess thats a start, right? I guess I'll stick to 10 minutes a day for the first few days until I can go more.
During induction, is it alright to eat fat free/sugar free (2 carbs) pudding with the same fat free/sugar free cool whip?

    Thanks,
    Michelle

I think the poster said that they had walked .5 of a mile. Half a mile. Still good going for a first effort though

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

The answer is more than likely going to be no.

But what are the full ingredients? If you can post the ingredients of this pudding, we can let you no.

ups...half a mile is fine yes. The first time I tried it took me 30 minutes to walk a km.

I know when I was walking it took me half an hour to walk about three fourths of a mile and I was pooped. You are doing great for just starting. You'll be running a marathon in no time girl!!

Half a mile is a start and that is what you have to do! Think how many people NEVER even get started! Way to go!!!
And this is a perfect opportunity to make working out a game and make it fun. Challenge yourself every day, every other day, every week - whatever - to add another minute or add another quarter of a mile, or another half a mile. It will keep you interested and keep you progressing. And if you don't have anyone to work out with, this makes you your own motivation.

                      Hey Michelle,
As you have access to a treadmill, you may want to think about joining our Exercise challenge. There's no pressure to perform. You set your own workout goals for the month and just check in and write down how many minutes or miles you've done for the day. I found that it's really helped me to stay motivated. And hey, we're a friendly bunch!

Original goal: Lose 30 lbs by Mar. 1st, 2006. I made it!!!

Calling it GOAL at this point. I'm happy with where I am now and hope to stay there, or maybe even take it down a little more.
