  • Day 1 a new start for a new lifestyle

    Hello All,
    Im new Here, I need to get in shape and loose weight before my Wedding August 26th. And i believe that a Low Carb Lifestyle is the way to do it.

    Ive been dieting for about a month and Managed to Lose a tough 10lbs, Now ill try it this way and see if this is easier

    I couldn't agree more, low carb it the way to go! It makes you feel great!

      Congratulations on your 10 pound loss and upcoming wedding. Instead of a diet, look at Atkins as a new way of life. You'll not only lose the weight and feel great, you will be healthier and have so much energy. Keep us posted on your success!!

        Thanks, Hey im not going to Kid you. Yesterday was the first day of induction and it was tough. I really didnt want to eat a bunch of garbage but yogurt was calling my name. But these boards gave me the Will power to go on without the Carbs. So im happy to report that i ate Perfect Yesterday.

          Congrats on having a very successful Day 1! If you can make it through the first few days as well, you should have pushed through the worst part. Glad to have you here!

                Hi and welcome! Oh trust me, the first week is the hardest. Then it just becomes your life style - like it should be.
                I will lose weight, I will lose weight, I WILL LOSE WEIGHT!

                  Welcome aboard! You can definitely do this way of eating! Just remember to drink your water and get a little bit of exercise in every day.

                    Im sure you can do it Farley..... I just restarted myself. Stay strong, no cheats and drink lots and lots of that quality H2O

                      Make sure to go out and buy Dr Atkins book! It SO important to read it cover to cover so you understand how induction works and why.
                      And of course then when you have questions we are all here to help you!
                      Congrats on making thru day one.....it will be a hard week but you can do it!
