  • Hello everyone! :D

    hi i just started the atkins diet three days ago im 6"3 and 235 pounds, hoping to get down to 200 pounds. so far not had a problem with the diet and enjoy the food

    Im workin out 6 nights a week and running two miles 5 nights a week is this enough?

    thanx all hope i can get through this

          Welcome!!

          It sounds like you are off to an amazing start! Working out 11 times a week, YES I'd say that's enough! Of course it depends on what your regular activity level was before, but if I worked out that much I think I'd shrink before everyone's eyes.

          Good luck, and we're glad you found us!
          Female / Currently on Extended Induction (again), begun 6/2/08.

          I did Extended Induction from 1/3 to 5/9 (2006) and lost 55 pounds, so I know I can do it again!

            I know, the food is the best, isn't it?!

            About the exercise...when you say working out 6 days a week, are you doing weights 6 days a week and running 5 of those days also? Regardless, you might be interested in checking out some of the exercise challenges!
