    Hi all,
    Thought i would introduce myself

    Male 38 here. Started 5 days ago. My first time to try atkins or really any serious attempt at losing weight. Been doing really well on the food and drink. Only cheating is my regular coffee. Tried to cut caffeine cold turkey - but the headaches and inability to get any work done forced me back to the Java. Now, I'm just working on phasing out coffee. Last couple of days down to 1 cup of coffee a day.

    Biggest craving i have is for my diet coke.

    Its hard for me to not get on the scale every morning and see the results - even though I'm trying to tell myself its the honeymoon & water loss period!!!

    Can't cook so i ordered the Atkinsathome meals. Each meal seems to have some vegies with it - so that seems to be a good thing for me. And they are smaller portions then i would eat on my own and yet I'm not that hungry at all

    Anyways, this seems to be a really nice online community and I'm glad to have found you all

    Hi!, I also just started and I have decided not to weight in until the end of the 2 weeks of induction, just in case that the pounds aren't going down, so that my motivation doesn't dissapear.

    I used to be addicted to coke, then I managed to change the addiction to diet coke... so I know how hard it is trying to live without it.

    I wish we had here that program that takes the prepared meal to your house, I am not a good cook and i'm afraid my meals will get repeated over and over... lol

    Have the best luck in succeding with Atkins! (and yes, this is a great forum!)

          Welcome to Atkins and the boards chchchchanging!

          Starting this way of life was my first serious attempt at losing weight as well. I had tried others as a passing fancy, but just gave into the cravings saying it just wouldn't work for me. Trust me, you'll be glad your first attempt was Atkins, because it really is the best!

                Hey Welcome Aboard.
                I am curious about the Atkins at Home meals. This is the first I have heard of them! Are they frozen? Where do you get them? Are you doing those 3 meals a day? Sorry for all the questions, just curious.

                  Hi Barb! Great pic!! I had a couple of people ask me about the meals so i posted a short little note about them in my new journal. Feel free to check that out and let me know if you have any other questions on it.
