  • At it again!!!

IM back after a yr and 1/2 to give this another try. I had started atkins back in dec of '04 and lost 18 lbs in 2 weeks and was wowed! However, I then found out I was pregnant and had to take a break. I have put back on those 18 lbs (and 5 more) and am now no longer breastfeeding and ready to do this again. I just went in recently to have a check up where my Dr suggested the South beach Diet but after reading the book I wanted to give this another try instead. The south beach diet resticted not only carbs but fat too. AFter looking at the foods allowed list, I didnt see but 2 things on there I actually liked! I loved that atkins at least let me have fat if I had to give up all those carbs I had become such a slave to. I cant put down the south beach really though having never gave it a fair shot but it seemed like too much of a sacrifice for me all at once giving up carbs AND fat. I dont have the disipline.

Well this time I am excited and even more prepared. After ditching my caffine addiction last round, and never picking it back up, I can skip what was the hardest part for me last time and wont have those caffine withdrawal headaches. I have taken some before shots and just KNOW I will see great results in the future and look forward to feeling good about myself again.

    ITS GREAT TO BE BACK!!

Welcome back! I've tried the more restrictive plans and the one thing I have learned is this: If I can't see myself eating foods on the plan it doesn't work for me. I mean I could live on induction menu's the rest of my life but I love that eventually I can move up to where I am comfortable enjoying food and not being a slave to it. I am encouraged because I know I can do this plan forever! So I know failing isn't an option! I've never felt that way about a plan in all my life. It just fits me yeah! Good luck and I hope you are super successful!
