Hello!
My Name is Jennifer and I am from New England. I am currently the heaviest I have ever been and cannot stand it any longer!
I have tried a few different diets ( the usual suspects ) with little to no success.
For years now I have watched people around me be sussessful on Atkins, always sceptical about how healthy the diet really is...then it dawned on me that it cannot be healthy to eat candy, and chocolate ( sugars of all sorts ) anyway, carry around excess baggage and be so unhappy with your weight and food selection....( after you have eaten it )
Not to mention that my cousin, a diabetic and celiac ( spelling?) managed to be in good heath eating very close to what the Atkins diet is all about....( she looks better then ever! )
I wanted to start now to make sure I am good and ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas binges...not to mention I go to Walt Disney World every year for 2 weeks and I want to be in the best shape of my life next October and fully rid of sugar and bad carbs ( the bikini factor would be great too! )
I have lurked for a few days and am very impressed with the willpower you all have when it comes to sticking to this woe...I am on day 4 with NO CHEATING and feel GREAT!....I am already experiencing the "Its time to eat already?"....
I look foward to all of your support in my transition to healthy living.
