I am doing Adkins and I will not say how many times I have started only to see results and then yo yo and more again. This time is my victory for a new WOE and I ask for everyone's help. Yes I am a needy person and so thankful that I found all of you.

Re: I found you
Hello Low Carb Mother,
Welcome to the board! Congratulations on taking that first step and deciding you want to move forward with a new outlook! Here are a couple tools that you might find useful this time around....
1) Come on over to the the Second Time Around Forum, hang out with us, as a second timer myself, I've found it motivating and uplifting, and there are some really fun people there.
2) Check out all the forums and be sure to read the sticky's. They hold lots of helpful info to assist you.
3) Drink lots of water
We are always open to questions, and trying to assist you as best we can. Lots of friendly folks here, willing to tell you what's worked for them and against them.
Keep us posted and welcome!

Re: I found you
Welcome Low Carb Mother! So happy that you've joined us and are ready to make this a way of life. Get active in the board and make plans to succeed. Incorporate the WOE into your schedule and don't look back....look ahead to the results you will see. (Take measurements so you can see the inches dropping)
Find substitutes to replace the trigger foods that you have problems with. For example: Instead of potatoes, use cauliflower. Instead of noodles, (thin sliced zucchini or eggs) SEE Substitution forum for more examples. Spices help keep your meals exciting and from getting ho-hum.
The ADBB has so many knowledgable people who are always here for you. Best wishes...keep posting and let us know how you're doing!Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F

Dedication gives wings to our dreams and keeps them in flight! In One Word...COMMITTMENT.
