Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the board but not to Atkins. I've done the Atkins in the past and successfully lost 40 lbs. I had another child and gained it back. After a doctor's visit in early May, I realized that I should try the Atkins again because it seemed to be the only diet that really worked. I just finished induction yesterday and roughly lost about 10 lbs. The last time I tried this I lost 15 but I'm not complaining. It seems to get harder to lose as I get older. I'm going to stay on the extended induction plan. My problem is that I'm weighing myself on the scale too many times. (I'm a scale addict) I notice that I retain water when I first wake up in the morning ( even after going to the bathroom). If I wait a couple of hours and then weigh in...I've lost about 2 lbs. Is this
water retention normal?
Thanks!
