Hi everyone.. I found this site when a co-worker told me about the Atkins diet and how she lost a good amount of weight on it. From viewing the postings I figured out that I am an emotional eater. Which I am glad that I am not the only one, and it helped me to figure out why I want to eat eat eat when I get upset/stresses out. I am a mother of a 20 month old and I only gained 20lbs when I was pregnant. I was a size 14 now I am a size 16, and I am tired of being overweight. I can pretty much control my cravings now that I know it is stress related. I just started the diet, so any tips would be great.... I do have one question -can I use protein shakes on this diet? Anything quick and easy is good.. I am sure everyone knows how it is to have a young child, work f/t, and take care of the family when you get home is.. My parents live in another state so I don't have much support. Thanks for any advice/tips!!!
