Hi everyone! New to Atkins and new to forums in general! I started the diet May 28th and have lost 8 lbs. I'm excited but at the same time a little discouraged because the weight loss seems to be a bit higher for other people. However, I did read that 2 lbs a week average weight loss is good so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have a goal of 150lbs right now, but I would like to be about 143lbs when it's all said and done! So hopefully I can. My boyfriend and his family did it a few years ago and he lost about 75lbs. He has put a little back on (not nearly what he was though) and so he has started to watch his carbs again to help both of us.
I guess I should post my menu somewhere but I don't know where. I just want to know if I am doing things right. I have read the book but you know how easy it can be to overlook certain carbs....especially when you are busy! Anyhow, I love these forums and I'm excited bout getting on a great WOE!
