Hi,
My name is Jana, I'm 50 and weigh 200lbs. I'd like to drop 40-50, like by tomorrow!
Let me be honest and tell you that I've not read the book, not gonna read the book, don't even have the book!
I lost 21lbs the beginning of last year and have put 11 back on. Last year I did it by low cal dieting. Now I've decided to try low carbing.
I am trying to do the induction based on what I've read here about the allowed foods... Started yesterday, before reading here, and ended up, according to Spark People, with an intake of 38 grams of carbs
My downfall was an ounce of nuts and, apparently, green pepper which I thought was on the generously allowed food list! No?
Anyway, here I am day 2 - Can't cut out the caffiene completely. I have 2 cups of coffee a day with nutrasweet and powdered creamer. I also drink 2-3 diet cokes per day... Am I doomed?
Today I've had 3 deviled eggs (6 halves) made with full strength mayo and a dab of mustard.
For a snack I'm going to have...??
For dinner I'm making a big chef's salad with ham, cheese, chicken, egg, lettuce, cucumber and bleu cheese dressing (has 2 gm per TBS)
I'd love a desert! Are the ricotta cheese deserts allowed during induction?
Bottom line - I need help getting thru this induction without blowing it. Breakfast is hard for me as I don't have time to cook in the AM. Yesterday I took hard boiled eggs to work but everybody who came into my office asked me if I'd crapped in my wastebasket
Am I safe to get a fast food b'fast sandwich and ditch the bread?
Any and all help and suggestions are welcome...Except read the book
That's what I have you guys for, right? :
