    Hey, we both started on the same day! Very cool. You say you plan to cheat on your 21st...how about you only cheat a little? You can get really good drinks by mixing with diet sodas and using splenda. Stay away from fruity, sugary liquers and beer.

    Check out the drink recipes on this forum, someone made a really good margarita one!

        o wow, grilled off some southwest turkey burgars, which is a bell pepper, seasonings, cilantro, hot sauce, jalepeno, they were delicious, i think i am going to cook ten every sunday, weighed myself this morning, down 2 lbs, my roomate came home after being gone in a week, says i have lost weight, which is good.

          Are turkey burgers good? I can't say I've had one...I'm willing to try though.

          Awesome that your roommate said "you lost weight"! Are you still drinking yoour water and eating your veggies?

            i never tried them before, but when you add stuff to the turkey its delicous, ya, drink a bunch of water like i always do,

                Welcome Brandon! Looks like you're on your way to success already! Stomping out the cigs and cutting out the soda is a huge accomplishment! You're going to do great on atkins! Don't forget to get your vegies in. Post often and let us know how you're doing! Best of health to you!

                  update: down eight pounds on day 6, eating and drinking right, lost 2 inches on chest, one inch on belly, down 4 belt loops, now on the last one on my belt that i have had for like 4 years. havn't had the energy kick in, just plain out tired, dont want to wake up, but i hope it will past

                    Hey there,

                    Give us an idea of what your meals are like each day. Maybe we can pinpoint why you're so tired. Also, any vitamins or supplements you take, and the amount of water you drink each day.

                    When I first did Atkins, I was tired a lot, too. I eventually learned what I was doing wrong and things improved. Unless you're not getting enough sleep at night, you shouldn't be tired.

                      okay, this is my meal for the past 3 days


                      i dont eat breakfast, due to that i wake up at noon everyday,

                      lunch,

                      6 pieces bacon, 2 oz ham, 3 eggs

                      dinner,

                      10 hot wings
                      bowl of brocc slaw


                      lunch,

                      2 turkey burgars, with a chipotle mayo


                      dinner, 5 oz strip steak , onions, mushrooms and peppers


                      i am taking one a day, which i have been taking for a long time, i drink like 200 oz of water, walk the dog 1 hour each day
