Hi there~
My name is Jen, and this is my first real attempt at Atkins in a number of years. I know that it worked for me in the past, and then I got off the wagon, in a big way. My husband and I started full force about 3 weeks ago, and since then I'm down 8.5 lbs and he's down 14 lbs, so we're certainly encouraged by the results and plan to stay with this and work through the program to help us get and stay healthy.
I guess a little more about me... Just turned 32, married a bit over a year ago, work from home, ridiculously sedentary but working on it. I found this site about a week ago when looking at before and after pics for inspiration, and there's so much great information and things going on here that I thought it would really benefit me to participate, so here we go...
I'll post pics and stats and all that stuff as more progress is made and I get more comfortable with the boards. One thing I was trying to figure out, though... When you measure inches lost, what all do you measure to calculate that? I'm guessing there's a sort of standardized way to do that, but for the life of me I haven't been able to track it down...
Thanks in advance for your help, your stories and success have already helped me to stay on track!
Best,
Jen
