i fell off the atkins wagon.
this will be my third attempt at doing this WOL all the way through! i tend to get lazy and want to stay on induction forever, which is bad for me because i don't have that much weight to lose and i'm not learning how many carbs that my body can handle. the first time i did induction, i stayed on it for over a month and got down to 108lbs and i was ready to call it goal, but i had no idea how to go about it. i ended up going back to carb-loaded foods and gained up to 127lbs, mainly because everyone had me convinced that i was making myself sick because i was finally *thin* and my mom concluded that i must be "starving" myself (which i was NOT doing! i've never been able to eat so much and lose weight like this before in my life!! i heart atkins!
). i gave it another not-so-strict try, stayed on for three weeks and got down to 112lbs. once again, i was lost and ended up breaking over and i've been eating very bad stuff for the past three days. the scales read 120lbs currently.
i'm a huge fan of sugarfreesheila.com and i'm 5'2" tall. i would really like to be about 105lbs and learn how to maintain it for life. i'm 22 years old and i have two little boys. i would love to be a good role model for them and teach them healthy eating habits early on! my oldest son is already addicted to junk food. i also have a boyfriend with sugar problems. i think he could really benefit from this WOE! now i'm armed with fitday, and my handy notebook with a page for each day of induction planned out so that i can monitor carbs closely for when OWL comes around. i've got my exercise regime planned out - 3 days a week of sculpt 3-4 from power90, 3 days of slim in six pack from slim in 6 combined with 30mins of walking/running on the treadmill. the only thing left is a support group! i look forward to getting to know everyone!!
