Oh wow..I finally figured this out. Just stopping by to introduce myself. This seems to be an awesome website. I am definetly not new to atkins..this is my second and lifechanging go round. I am 5'7 CW is 161.4...145 is my goal. First time around I lost down to 129...yes..too thin. Here I was thinking I was lookin good. Saw my Mother for the first time in a long while..she said..Oh My Lisa you are looking "gaunt" My first thought was what the **** does "guant" mean? Here I had worked so hard..then to hear my Mother basically say I looked awful, was very degrading to me. She meant well I know(my momma is my very best friend) But sometimes here wording just ain't up to snuff...lol. Anyway looking back on pics hubby and I had taken on vacation that year..I did...I looked like walking death...so needless to say I put back on the weight...gained all the way back up to 176.6. Soo here I go again. Have lost 15 thus far. But will learn how..someway or another..to maintain at 145...Period!! Hoping to find planty of support here. Seems like ya'll have a lot of fun as well!! Looking forward to posting regularly! Good meeting all of you! See ya!

Hello Lisa! Welcome aboard!
Sounds like you had a great success last time... almost too much so! It can be hard judging sometimes where the right place to stop is. Post lots of pics this time and we'll tell you if you begin to get gaunt again.... but with all the nice maintenance foods, I'm sure you'll be able to stay just about where you want to be!
Post lots and let us know how you get on. We're looking forward to applauding your success! Before and after:

Welcome aboard, Lisa
There definitely is hope the second (third, fourth, etc.) time around as long as you make a commitment to make this time the real deal.
I live in Lousiana, too - whereabouts are you? I am in Baton Rouge.

Re: and here's....Lisa
Here I am up way to early again! Anyone else have problems sleeping in? I get up between 4:15 and 5:30 everymorning. It's the 4:15 thats a killer. Wondering if this was just one of those things that goes along with this WOE. I dont remember this last time. Oh well....get all my chores done before leaving to work...also manage at least a 20 min walk in the mornings now.
But seriously...any one else have this early bird syndrome?

I also get up early. Usually between 4.45 and 5.30... not by choice though.
Even when I can sleep in, I never sleep beyond 7.
