  • A New Beginning!!!

    Hello Everyone.......

    I just started this journey to lose weight on Saturday 1/5/08. I need everyone out there for motivation to keep going and stay on track. My curent weight is 184 but hope to be 135 soon. When times get hard, I read everyone's stories to motivate myself into continuing the right path. So please everyone help me out I need encouragement.

      Hi Brenda, Emma is right you found the best place. You will do great.
      40 year old male 6' 3"

      What I know:
      1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
      2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
      3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
      4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

          Brenda... warm welcome to you! This is a terrific place for support and motivation. There's always someone around with a word of advice or comfort.

                We are all here to encourage and support you every step of the way, I promise!

                Here's the key to success: Come to the board often, make friends, join challenges and become active on ADBB. It's such a friendly place and everyone is so knowlegable as well.

                I hope times don't get hard for you, but if they do, we'll be here for you for that too!
