Hi Julie,

Both my husband & I are doing it together as well. (he and I have a 2yr old) I too think its awesome getting healthy as a family, and setting an example. ...We started this woe only 2 weeks ago, but can already see a major difference, and he and I both wish we would have done it sooner.

The great thing about atkins, is the more you do it, the more you want to do it...wouldn't you agree???

Hello everyone! My name is Julie and my wonderful husbands name is Tommy. We have a 14mo daughter. Both of our weigh has gotten out of control and we want to set a healthly example for our daughter. The adkins diet has been in my family for a while. My father is a diabetic and because of counting carbs he has been able to go off some of his meds (praise God)

Tommy started adkins 1/3 and after seeing his success in just a few days I followed him on 1/6 This morning Tommy is down 15.6 and I am down 12.2 and we see no end in sight!
