So, I've been a member of ADBB for a few weeks now, but I haven't actually gotten started yet. I found this site by accident when I was considering starting the Atkins Diet, and figured it would be a great place to start for motivation! So, here goes!
My name is Kristi, and I live in Texas. I am 30 years old, and a single mother of a 7 year old son and a nearly 6 year old daughter. I have been overweight since the pregnancy of my son, and it's time to do something about it. I've tried exercising and other diets, but i can't seem to stick to just one thing. I get discouraged easily when I don't see the results I expect to see. I know this is going to take some dedication and patience, but I'm ready for it, and I know that I'll get the motivation and support I need right here at the ADBB. I'm looking at starting within the next few days, so everyone wish me luck!!

...You CAN do it!!! Once you start seeing the weight falling off, and feeling better & better every day, its easy to stick with...I know your kinda limited in the first 2 weeks with what you can eat, but after that as your moving up the rungs try to be creative, so you dont get bored. (thats my strategy...I think its fun trying to take all the things I like and rework them to make them low carb)
