Hi new here - at least this time

    Hi fellow Atkiners,
I am on my 5th day of induction and so far so good.
I am also doing some ab exercises every night to get rid of stomachs.
I work out at the gym 3 days a week with cardio and weight training.
I will take any encouragement offered to me.
I think I am finally at a point in my life(53) that I want and need to get healthy.

thanks for looking and good luck to all

    Cyndi

    Hi Cyndi,
Im on my 5th day as well and I'm doing great on my Induction period. Also, im 52 and after a recent doc appt, I made up my mind that I have to shed 20/25 lbs. I weighed in today and I'm down 4 pounds and I'm estactic!

I started exercising yesterday (4th day), it was really the first day I had enough energy to do so. But I as motivated as one can be and will dedicate at least a hour perday to exercise.

How is your induction food going. What are you eating?

    Take care,
    Rose

Hi Rose, thanks for the welcome.

I am eating 2 string cheeses ? for breakfast.

I have been eating salad at lunch with chicken or tuna.

at around 3pm at work, I ususally eat an Atkins bar

I eat vienna sausages for dinner but also add some veggies (brocolli or brussel sprounts or I've had smoked sausage

when I get home it's hard, but I ususally snack on some cheddar cheese

Luckily we have Kentwood Spring water at work, so I've been trying to drink the 8- 8oz glasses of water every day

I recently started taking the One a day Women's 50+ vitamins and potassium (mine is low cause I take other meds)

so far so good, have a great day! Cyndi

Hi guys, thanks for the welcome.

I am doing pretty good so far. I am working on making the correct food choices.

I am trying to step up my workouts too.

I don't want to overdue it though.

I will be weighing in on my home scale on Sunday, I'll post it for you all and
I appreciate all of your support!

            Thanks,
            cyndi
