    Re: Dizzyness

You can very much gain a couple of pounds on your period. Please don't weigh during your 'tom.' But if you have already lost 7 pounds, Awesome! and that means you succeeded in getting your body into ketsosis, burning fat. If you keep eating the way you were eating that put you IN ketosis, you will stay in ketosis, and keep burning fat. And you simply will lose. Not 7 pounds every 9 days, understand, it levels out to a couple of pounds or so a week, which is a good healthy rate to lose.

Don't quit, you did the hard part, you changed your metabolism. Keep walking, keep resisting twinkies! eww... and we are here for ya.

        Re: depression

        Hello everybody
Today im not doing so well. i hope writing this help a little. About six months ago i went to a ferility treatment center to try to get pregnant and didn't work. i tried it i think about four times. Went through the whole hormones and ferility pills and to find out that my eggs wont fertilize. So i gained a lot a weight from the treatment and more im sure from being stressed and tired and emotinally drained. so here iam trying to lose weight and im still a little sad about not being able to have any kids. So that's makes it double hard for me to do the diets. Although im very dedicated to the diet i have times like today where i just want to have a piece of chocoalte cake and among other things. i did lost 7 lbs but my weight keep going back and forth. Eventhough im being good. Im a chef and i live in PA it is very hard to find a job that pays good up here. I recently left my job because it dont pay. So right now im at home feeling realy bad. My husband been very suportive, he's a great man and he's been there for me from the begining to the end. It so hard because i feel like a failure, cant have any kids, cant gt a job, and can't lose weight. I dont know what else to do. All i know is that i can't give up. I know bad times comes and go but i guess its my turn in life to go through it. Anyway thank u for reading.

            Re: Dizzyness

Dear Yvette, I'm sorry to hear about the problem with having a baby but don't give up because it could happen later as it did with my daughter long after she had resigned herself to being childless.

It's great that you haven't given up on Atkins because this is the way to at least have some control over your life and eating. Depression is hard to deal with alone. I know because I suffered with it for years. Medication might help and contrary to Atkins, some of the newer meds don't make you gain weight so you might consider getting help for it.

I wish you the best and hope you soon are feeling better. Keep posting because we care.
