I'm Leo, nice to meet you all. I just officially started the Atkins diet today, had bacon and eggs for breakfast.
I'm thinking lettuce w/ a bit of shredded colby-jack cheese for lunch and perhaps throw a chicken breast or steak on the george foreman for dinner.
I will also be putting together my exercise bike today. I work at FedEx and get a decent workout there during the day, but I'll use the bike a bit in the morning and evening to add some more activity.
I'm still learning a good bit about Aktins, but I think I got the basics down. Induction... restriction to 20 carbs or less for 2 weeks (or longer). More or less limited to meats, cheese and greens. After induction add 5 carbs per week untill you find your sweet spot. I read the average carbs per day people eventually level out at is 40 - 50 carbs per day?
Anyways, I'm going to be full of questions I'm sure.
A little more about me... I'm a 23 year old guy and weigh 209 pounds at the moment. I want to get down to 185 pounds, and perhaps even lower depending on how I look and feel.
I live in Memphis, and I live alone with my two cats. Not much to say really, I'm a pretty boring guy.
