my name is Tony and i was doing atkins a few years ago. while i did lose 30 pounds i strayed and have now gained it all back. i think where i went wrong was i was doing atkins the same time i started my cigarette quit. after smoking for 20 years of which the last 3 i smoked 3-4 packs a day
, you can imagine that was a stressfull time for me. i've been done with cigarettes for going on 30 months so i think it's time to "back the food tray up" as my wife likes to say. i plan to reread the book this weekend and get started next weekend, or maybe even monday if i can get myself in gear.
a little about me, i'm a 36 year old male, 5'8" broad build and currently 248
. my goal is to get down to 200 and maintain with a steady weight lifting regimen. i might decide to post some before pics when i get the ball rolling.
