Hi all,
I am from Canberra, Australia and I have been doing Atkins induction for just over a week. I am really enjoying this and believe that I have made the right choice for me as a lifestyle change.
First week I lost 2.6kg (5.7lbs) and felt great.
This is day 9 and I feel bloated and have gained nearly a kilo back (1.7lbs)... The pants that were loose on the weekend are fitting me again today... On Friday I weighed 86.5kg (190lbs) and today I weighed 87.3kg (192lbs).
Can someone help with what is going on - I thought that weight loss did not stall for a few weeks (I am only on day 9 and it has not stalled it has gone up)?
I drink about 3L of water a day, I take fibre (so no issues there) and I am counting all the carbs (have the printout from the Atkins site) and I am only eating induction allowed foods. I am only having 2 decafs a day with 1 tablespoon of cream (less than 1g carbs).
I would very much appreciate any advice that others have.
Thanks in advance
Jodes

. Once I reach a weight I ignore it if the scale goes up a bit (as long as I know I'm staying on plan) because I know it's simply water weight. It's best if we only weigh ourselves once a week, on the same day, at the same time, in the same clothes (or lack of
) - that's coming from someone who weighs herself every morning
