    5 years later....

Hey everyone! I first tried Atkins in 2004 when I was just looking to loose a bit of weight and it worked great. However I had a rough few years and gained a lot of weight. I am healing and working on myself now. I have been thinking a lot about joining Atkins again, but have not yet confirmed a start date (thinking Sat or Sun hopefully).

It was inspirational to see the b4 and after picts on the board.

I am thinking to do atkins again because I have it memorized what u can eat and am aware of the food plan, also I didn't get cravings and felt great during the diet.

I am 24 years old from vancouver bc and currently training to be a counsellor.

I look forward to reading everyones feedback and just wanted to say Hi!

    Best of luck,
    Sasha

      Welcome, StarRuin!

I'm sorry about the tough years. But today is a new day. And getting yourself healthy and in shape is a wonderful way to start out fresh on the right foot.

        Hi StarRuin,

I too started in 2004, lost 60lbs then had major life problems, anyway I am determined to get to a healthy weight so I can do the things I want to do with my son & be happy. I started this Monday, not sure if I could do it again, and today I weighed in and have already lost 7.5lbs!! I am more than amazed!! If I can do this, you can do this!!
