    Hello Everyone,

    I just re-started Atkins two days ago. I got down to 165 following Atkins about a year and a half ago. Since then I have been trying to follow low fat diets and they just do not work for me. I either find myself starving...or I eat foods that throw me into low blood sugar. I am back to Atkins for good! I thoroughly believe that fat is GOOD for us...and I love that my appetite is suppressed, I have much better moods, and my blood sugar is stabilized on Atkins.

    I was looking at the before/after pictures and I am so inspired by all of you! I can't wait to be an after.

    I had to try the other diets, too... and it came down to Atkins only for me!

      Good for you for coming back to Atkins. It'll work as well as it did before, for you, I'm positive.

            Hi Summer I'm new here too and on my third day. Since you said you've done atkins before i was wondering if you could tell me when you first started to see results. I know i'm only on day three of this journey but a ballpark idea would be nice. Thanks and good luck

              Hello lexiny81,

              Everyone is different but in the past I tend to lose about five pounds a week while following induction. I will be weighing myself on Saturday so we will see how much I have lost in my first week this time. I always see the best and fastest results when I follow Atkins...but this time I am following Atkins permantently. I know the biggest thing that helps my weightloss on Atkins is drinking at least 64oz of water and making sure that I get 15-17 carbs from vegtables a day.

                Good for you for sticking to it, i hope i can too And your definitely right about the water thing. I've always drank a lot of water anyways since i don't really like soda or anything like that, but on atkins i can't believe how well i suppresses my hunger. Let me know how you do on saturday and I'll let you know how i do on monday when my first week is up. This forum rocks! Ttyl
