Hi! I am new to the Atkins forum - and Atkins way of living, too! I have tried so many things to lose weight only to have no success. I am 181 lbs and my first goal is for 161 lbs. I am aiming to lose more but think that this time I should start with small goals. I am starting induction tomorrow - I posted my menu on "Review My Menu" - My biggest downfall is convenience foods - because I work, go to school, and a single mother - I tend to eat whatever is the easiest. I am just leaving for the grocery store and I am going to cook (or get the food ready to cook) my entire menu for this week. This way I will be less tempted to eat things that are not on the induction list. Any advice is welcome!








Glad you joined us. As for advice.....read the book...often!! and drink plenty of water. Have snack food handy.....mine was always pork rinds and dip, chicken wings, and cut up cauliflower. Find yourself some beef jerky that doesn't have sugar in it, or make up some of your own for when you have no access to refrigeration. Browse the forums here and join a challenge or two, and have a hobby handy for when you want to eat for the sake of eating.
