Hello, my name is Lisa. I keep going on low carb, losing 20-30 pounds, falling off and regaining it and then re-losing it. Over and over. I could have been skinny by now. I am so tired of myself. I started Induction on Friday, so this is my day 5. By the book, doing fitday, measuring and weighing and drinking almost a gallon of water a day. I feel really good, couple days ago, not so good, with the induction flu. I have about...........140 pounds to lose. What a daunting goal. Today I bought a bike. Right now, I work 10 hour days, five days a week and my commute is an hour each way. I am literally gone 12 hours a day. I need to encorporate working out in my day i know this. Its not atkins if you don't exercise. However my job is strenuous, i work in healthcare and I am on my feet those 10 hours walking, lifting patients, etc. I am bushed at the end of the day. Anyways, Hello to all and I hope to be around and share your triumphs with you as well as my own and to learn from the wisdom of you all. Nice to meet you all.

First order of business: Be kind to yourself! You're a busy gal, obviously! Fit in your workouts when you can. And don't think of "whoa ... 140 lbs.!" Take it in small increments and then rejoice when you meet your mini-goals ... they add up! Try to check in here as often as you can. This board is a lifeline and a great support system ... use it! And HANG IN THERE ... you can do this ... you're in health care and YOUR health should be paramount, don't you think? Nice to meet you, too!
