    Hi everyone! I'm Kim from SC.I recently decided to start on the Atkins diet and found this forum accidentally.It's great!Hope to make many new friends and allies here.

          This is a great place to be for help, support and friendship! Check the challenge forum and see if there is anything you are interested in - it's a great way to meet people and to stay on track.

          Make sure you drink at least 64 ounces of water daily (pure water, not tea, coffee, kool-aid) also, exercise is mandatory!

          Read the 2002 DANDR book, make sure you're only eating foods on the acceptable foods list and follow the rules. Here are some links for recipe sites to help keep you from getting bored eating the same thing over and over. You will find there is a wide variety of food you can eat from induction forward so there's no need to eat only a few foods. Also, we don't eat the Atkins bars or drink the shakes - they aren't allowed until further up the rungs and a lot of people say they cause stalls so I won't ever be eating or drinking them.
