I almost feel a little funny welcoming you as I feel so new to this myself.
I tell ya, the thing that has helped me stick to this is planning and prepping! It makes a huge difference. I sound like you. I would find myself with out food, get hungry and grab whatever. With planning you never have to do that.
For instance right now I have about 10 of those turkey burgers made up, a big container of field greens, crustless quiche cut in sqrares, individual cheese snacks, a whole chichen cut up etc in my fridge....every thing is in snack packs and ready to pull out and eat. Every few days when something is down I replace it with something else.
Oh, and what has really helped me is throwing out everything that is not atkins friendly...I meant everything, and cleaning my fring completely. OMG I can see what I have!
This is the 1st time in my life to deal with food in a manner so organized! It feels great.
