  • Half Off

    Hi Everyone,

It has been decades since I've been on the Atkins diet. While losing weight is naturally a primary goal, I miss the way I felt while on the diet -- full of energy and clear headed. And, as most of you know, it is beginning to be recognized as a winner for longevity for so many reasons.

On a more financial note, I'm in the process of working on a webmaster certification which is my way of refreshing my technical skills so I can re-enter the workforce after a ten year hiatus for various reasons. So, naturally, I want to look my best.

I have everything to gain AND half of me to lose.

      Welcome to the board, Aleta!

Do you have the 2002 edition of the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution? It's the one we use here because it's the last one written by the good Dr. and it's more comprehensive than the older editions.

Good for you for coming back to Atkins and I wish you the best of luck!

HI Aleta!!! Glad to have you back and ready to make the best change for your health. Check out STAC (Second Time Around Club) you qualify since you've done Atkins before -- they have daily roll calls and help keep each other in line.

Make sure you are only eating food on the acceptable food list -- try Fitday to track your food daily, drink plenty of water (64 ounces pure water minimum), exercise starting today - and take your supplements.

          Good luck to you!
          Carole

              Re: Half Off

Have one of his first books and a variety of other Atkins books but not a 2002 copy. I'll have to pick up a copy. Thanks for the tip.
