    Re: New

My dh doesn't like lettuce either so he has what he calls a 'goodie salad', "Skip the lettuce and just put in the 'goodies'." He has cucumber, celery, green pepper, and tomato with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar and blue cheese dressing. It's really good!

I was just a little disappointment my very first post and I asked for help, stating that I don't like lettuce. And the first response was "eat it anyway". I was hoping for a few suggestions. Maybe some types of lettuce are tastier than others. I don't know I was just hoping for a much friendlier response.
Thank you Carole for your advice.
I don't like iceberg lettuce either, (I call it crispy water), so I stick to the greener variety, (green leafy, romaine). I can also tolerate spinach.

It can also help if you make a salad with chicken on it to kind of mask the taste of the lettuce.

          Re: New

I like it. In fact, I find it quite refreshing especially during summer.
