hi everyone, i have just started living the atkins way of life and health.
i am a 51 year old female, 5'4" and weigh 14 stone 1lb.
my doctor advised me to lose 2 stone, as my blood pressure is on the high side and i would rather not take medication.
i started the preparation 10 days ago and have been following the diet properly for 3 days.
since eating this way, i have noticed i have a lot more energy and patience. i intend to keep going, although i am afraid to weigh myself at the moment just in case i have put weight on: it is hard to believe i can lose weight by eating all this good food.

DO also check your measurements. DO it carefully so you can measure in the same spot the next time. Often the measurements tell the tale more than the scale.
