Today is my first day of induction. Ive done atkins before but quit before induction ended because i thought i could finish it on my own. So this time im making an effort to do it from start to finish. My goal is to lose 35 lbs. I recently got a 10 day punch card from my neighborhood gym (which is walking distance so i have no excuse) Im not overweight at all but I still want to get back to where i was almost 2 years ago. I think halloween 2007 i was 110 and i decided that i would eat candy (which i NEVER did so i dont know why i even started) after that, I couldnt stop and my blood sugar got really bad and i gained 50 pounds in about 5 months, so i guess that shows how easy just one little candy binge can turn into a huge catastrophe. So now, here i am again, hoping i can get off my butt and finally lose this for good.

Re: Introducing myself
Welcome to ADBB!
There is no "finish"... if you really "do" Atkins, then you never go off it.So this time im making an effort to do it from start to finish.
Do you have a copy of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (2002)?"Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Re: Introducing myself
Welcome to ADBB. This is a lifestyle choice not a temporary detour--at least not if you want the weight loss to stick. Wishing you success this time around.
