Yeah I do, thanks for that. Perhaps the fact that I wasn't expecting a response as direct like that, and that I already made that mistake and stopped doing it, so I don't think there's need of throwing it on my face again. But there's no need of explaining it, I understood perfectly. Thanks.

      >>it doesn't say if I should be stalled or for how long should I be on induction to start doing the fat fast, it just said I can do it if I'm metabolic resistant, si that's why I started it.>>

Perhaps I took your comment of about an hour ago in the wrong way ... it just seemed to me that you were still considering doing the Fat Fast ...

So ... I probably "jumped the gun" ... but the advice I gave was sound.

Now moving past the Fat Fast ... what about the comments about your current eating and drinking water?

Do you know how many net carbs a day you're getting? Calories?

          Huge? Hard to know.

I do know that undereating on Atkins doesn't work.

It doesn't take long of not eating enough to put your body in famine mode ... and then you don't lose.

You should try to get as close to 20 net carbs as possible, with MOST of them coming from Induction vegetables.

And eating at 10-12 times your current body weight in calories works for many.

And ... drinking 1/2 your weight in ounces of water works for most.

If you don't drink enough water, your body hoards it ... and that equates to no weight loss.

Same with calories/food ... your body will protect itself against what it thinks is starvation.

In many people it makes a huge difference. Have you explored using one of the food trackers like FitDay? It is really very helpful to log in everything and see if you are getting enough net carbs, fats, protein and also know what your calories are.

From looking at your menu, you may not be eating enough. I'm wondering if some veggies other than lettuces might boost up your carbs in a good way.

p.s. welcome to ADBB and congrats on your baby.

But I never pass more than 6 hours without eating, I don't think I've ever been in starvation mode. Thanks for your advice atkinsgal08, I will definetely drink more water, 96 ounces of water will do, that's 12 glasses, definetely not what I was drinking. I didn't eat more veggies because I was afraid to have more than 20 carbs, but I definetely will eat more.
Thank you very much for the foodtracker tip mizski, I will check it out.

The time frame isn't the only thing that matters.

If you're not eating enough QUANTITY ... how frequently you're undereating doesn't matter.

That's why you have to count your carbs!

I really don't eat that much, and I don't eat mayo, bacon, not even ham. I weigh everything and I haven't cheated at all in this 3 weeks. I take my vitamin supplements, B-complex. fish oil, and L - carnitine.

I think this looked pretty good. I would add more fat to the diet. I think that would help.
I also think that you are probably experiencing the new mom hormonal issues which can make it hard to lose weight. You body has changed on you now that you have become a mom. Just be patient with it. Work the program. Get a variety of veggies and some healthy fat in there.

I second the opinion about trying out FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal just to check out your percentages.

Thank you very much liv!!!, I hope you're right about the mummy hormones, anyways I just checked the FitDay diet journal and this came out:

                      Calories 1,611
                      Fat 112.9
                      Carbohydrate 17.5
                      Dietary Fiber 1.9
                      Protein 127.3

So it appears I'm having almost the 20 carbs daily.
atkinsgal08, I appreciate your concern, but I feel very good with the quantities I eat, I've always eaten like this, the only difference is that I used to fill up my stomach with sugar. This quantitiy satisfies me very much and I rarely have cravings, when I do, I eat half a small avocado as it says in the book. What I'm gonna do is drink more water and get a multimineral supplement with no beeswax, well I don't know if it's permitted or if it has sugar at all, does anybody know if I can still use the one I already have?

                      Thank you very much,
                      Pam.

I'm not sure why "Carbohydrate" is in blue, but you should be counting net carbs, not total carbs.

I'm surprised your dietary fiber is so low. Are over half of your NET carbs coming from vegetables?

I don't know all the ingredients in your supplements... but beeswax as an ingredient is fine.

It would be helpful if you could post a link to your public Fitday.

To make your Fitday public, log in, go to the Profile tab, click on the blue Public Settings Page at the bottom, click on the "Make My Journal Public" button. Then you'll get a link at the top:

So are fibers already deducted from the total on labels in Australia? I don't really know.
On your numbers - make sure most of your carbs are from veggies - over half of your total from that day.
Also though not a biggie - fat and protein should probably be more equal in gram numbers.
Watch products for sugars and dextrose and stuff
