    Hi I am excited to start atkins again. I had lost 60 pounds on it about a year and a half ago. I started at 247 I am now 200 so time for me to interject and stop the weight gain. I am looking forward to meeting you and giving and offering support.

      Hi and welcome back to Atkins --

      It sounds like you've done wonderful this far. Continue to follow the plan the way it's written. Look around and find what interests you and join in - the new challenges are starting again, many of them on the 1st. Check the STAC Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet for additional support.

      The 2002 DANDR book is the edition we follow on this site - take the time to re-read it to refresh your mind on everything you need to know. Get enough pure water in daily (64oz minimum is recommended), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin.

      Make sure you are eating enough vegetables – Atkins isn’t just meat and cheese – vegetables are a huge part of your daily menu and is where most of your carbs should be coming from.


      The recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- check them out!

          Welcome back to Atkins and congrats on your past loss!

          It's great that you've kept so much of it off and it's very wise of you to restart now. This is the time of year that we all need some extra support and the sooner we start, the better it will be. So welcome to our family.
