I am just starting. I actually started yesterday. I haven't read the book yet. I still need to get a copy of that. I am just currently keeping my carbs under 20g a day with no grains. One thing I am finding out on the site is that none of the atkins bars are allowed during induction. I actually had one earlier today before I knew it was off limits because on the box it said it was allowed in all phases. Some of the bars said it was only for phases 2-4, but this box said all phases. Oh well, better to happen early than later. I currently weigh 410 and am 6'1. I want to get down to 250 or less. I actually lost about 25 lbs just eating less, but have put 5 back on so now I am trying the Atkins diet. I have had significant weight losses before years ago the most being 75 lbs. I have hypertension and was just diagnosed with a mild case of diabetes.
Well, that is my introduction of myself. Any information regarding the diet would be appreciated.
