Re: Hi there =)
Hi and welcome!!
Plan your meals for a fews days so you have everything in your home and you won’t be tempted to eat something not allowed. Eat only foods listed on the acceptable food list and eat a variety of foods and vegetables. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What foods can be eaten on Induction?) (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)
Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin daily.
Check Linda's recipe site it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html . If you need anything we’re here to help you!!
Good luck to you!Carole_____________________May Water 130oz daily

Re: Hi there =)
Congratulations, Amber!
The excellent thing about Induction is that it helps us break those habits, and then, moving into OWL, we learn which foods (and in what quantities) we can tolerate, individually, over time.
Atkins is not a diet - it's a way of eating that should you follow DANDR 2002 all the way, you'll be able to keep the rest of your life!

What is the recipe? Just because everyone is eating desert doesn't mean you need to -- also, if you have to have something try the pumpkin desert - you can have that anytime and it's completely legal, plus the fiber is an excellent help to keep you regular. Good luck.Originally posted by amber+2 View PostI found a great recipe for a little microwave flourless cake i can have (is all acceptable foods on induction)
I tried it out and its awesome! It will come in very handy when at family suppers when there are desserts that are tempting! always nice to have an alternative to stop the temptation!Carole_____________________May Water 130oz daily

Re: Hi there =)
it makes enough cake for 2 ppl. I am quitting this board now.. I didn't realize that i was going to be bashed for finding something I enjoy the taste of. I was very proud of myself for sticking to things and finding a good alternative to cheating on a diet.. thank you all for taking that away from me. I wish you all success.
